How We Built This
2011 - The Beginning
Started out with just three lawyers who'd had enough of big corporate firms treating clients like case numbers. We opened shop in a cramped office downtown, determined to do things differently.
2014 - First Major Win
Won a landmark criminal case that got us noticed across BC. Client was facing 15 years, we got the charges dropped entirely. That's when folks started calling us the 'stronghold' - name stuck.
2017 - Expansion
Moved to West Georgia Street and doubled our team. Added civil litigation and employment law because our clients kept asking for help in those areas. Seemed wrong to send 'em elsewhere.
2020 - Adapting Fast
Pandemic hit and courts went virtual overnight. We pivoted quick, invested in tech, and kept fighting for clients when other firms were closing their doors. Toughest year we've had, but we made it work.
2023 - Recognition
Got ranked among Vancouver's top criminal defense firms by Canadian Lawyer Magazine. Nice to be acknowledged, but honestly, client wins mean more to us than any award ever will.
2025 - Where We Are Now
Team of 14 lawyers, support staff who actually care, and a reputation we've earned through hundreds of cases. Still fighting hard, still treating clients like people, not files.
